Wave Splash is a conceptual design project focused on transforming the public beach experience in urban areas. The aim was to develop a clear, friendly, and modern visual system that provides beachgoers with useful real-time information, while strengthening the emotional and visual connection to the coastline.
The Solution
Wave Splash offers a unified, user-centered design system that includes clear signage, custom icons, and a real-time beach dashboard. With a fresh visual identity and accessible communication, it improves safety, usability, and emotional connection to the beach environment.
The Problem
Many public beaches lack a consistent visual system and real-time information. Visitors often face unclear signage, limited accessibility, and no updates on important conditions like jellyfish presence or overcrowding. This creates confusion, reduces safety, and weakens the overall beach experience especially for tourists, families, and vulnerable groups.
Logo
The Wave Splash logo is clean and modern. It features a location pin icon, a universal symbol for navigation, cleverly filled with layered wave-like shapes in shades of blue and sandy beige, visually representing the sea and beach. This dual symbolism reflects both the physical environment and the digital functionality of the app.
